History
Established in 1962 by R.J. Scheffers, OIK Industries first opened its doors as Ornamental Iron of Kalamazoo. In the 1970s, as the business grew and expanded too much more than just ornamental iron, the company name was shortened to OIK Industries. In the late 1990s OIK Industries transitioned to the second generation of Scheffers ownership. Today, OIK Industries continues to be a family run business with a number of employees who have been a part of the team for many years, their experience and dedication to quality work has allowed the business to grow and prosper!
Mission Statement
The mission of OIK Industries, Inc. is to provide miscellaneous metal fabrications and service to our customers. We will provide these products and services with high quality standards, cost effective production methods, and on-time delivery for our customers.
